Our Story

A Legacy of Rowing in the Royal State

The Rajasthan Rowing Association (RRA) was established in 2008 with the vision of promoting and developing the sport of rowing across the state of Rajasthan. Affiliated with the Rowing Federation of India (RFI), RRA serves as the apex governing body for all rowing activities in the state.

From humble beginnings at Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur, RRA has grown into a formidable organization overseeing 25+ affiliated clubs, 500+ registered rowers, and a robust competitive calendar that spans the entire year. Our athletes have represented Rajasthan at national championships, junior nationals, and international regattas with distinction.

Over the years, RRA has organized more than 100 state-level competitions, conducted coaching certification programs, and established talent identification drives across all 33 districts of Rajasthan. Our commitment to grassroots development has unearthed remarkable talent from rural and semi-urban areas.
